First serious Try of HDR

Description

It was a cold afternoon, my university exams for this semester had ended. I took some friends/fellow students of another town to visit the outskirts of the city, my city.
My friend was so amused by seeing my poses, that he shot me this photo.
I used the opportunity to try and shot an HDR.
Sadly, there was our typical wind, the "Bora" blowing, up to 80 km/h. You can understand now why the branches are in motion.

I'd really like some comment, and, more than anything suggestion and tips on HDR, so, if you like, write something.

Enjoy it ;)

Very nice indeed. I especially like the three bands of colour, green, amber and blue. They work very well and help to define the details in the shot, especially the amber behind the trees.

The only thing I personally find annoying with HDR is that you have to be a little careful with the sky, as it can get a little "noisy". I use Photomatix Pro to tonemap my HDR shots, it's a little expensive for messing about ( about $99 ), but when you consider that you have already spent hundreds on camera kit, another 100 bucks is not much! I tend to prefer low light and indoor situations, they can work really well.

The one thing I try to do is concentrate on getting textures right, then contrast and colour. That's the one thing I seriously love about HDR, when you hit it, as you have here, the textures just leap out at you.

Very nice work, stick at it and play with the settings in your HDR/tonemapping software, you'll be amazed at the bizarre things you can do with your shots!
